Helen Keller International Job Circular Field Facilitator
HKI is seeking qualified candidates for the short-term position of `Field Facilitator` for its SAPLING program. The position will be based in Rowangchari and be supervised by the Upazila Program Manager or Technical Officers. Preference will be given to the qualified candidates of Rowangchari Upazila of Bandarban Hill District in general.

Job Description / Responsibility
The short-term field facilitators will be the first direct point of contact for SAPLING with the communities and program participants. Although all long-term field facilitators will be contracted under SAPLING's local implementing partners, to ensure that the program is able to meet the overall objective of increasing gender equitable food security at the para level, and have some participants engaged in time to participate in the summer planting season, SAPLING will contract a team of short-term field facilitators who will be responsible for collection of field-level data, sensitizing the communities, group formation, initiating activities and orientation of the SAPLING program and its objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
# Conduct wellbeing analysis and household census in order to identify primary project participants
# Collect data using various prescribed tools as per project requirement
# Enter data collected using a tablet and protocols provided by HKI
# Orient project participants on SAPLING programs such as agriculture & livelihoods, maternal and child health and nutrition, environment, gender, disaster risk management, etc.
# Initiate specific activities in disaster risk management, homestead food production and maternal and child health and nutrition at community level
# Work in coordination with the Upazila Technical team, Program Manager, M&E Officer, District based program team and purpose leads from SAPLING consortium partners for smooth implementation of the project activities
# Liaise with the development stakeholders (Government and Non-Government) at union and para level to seek their support in project implementation and share project intervention as appropriate
# Identify project participants as per selection criteria
# Prepare weekly/monthly work plan in accordance with approved project DIP and carry out planned activities against DIP targets
# Maintain Liaison and build rapport with local level administration, community representatives, traditional leaders and elite persons in the para and union
# Assist with transition of activities to local implementing partner team
# Any other duty assigned by the SAPLING program team.
